Poor Dusty couldn’t even tap his foot while playing from hip pain. RIP Dusty, you are irreplaceable and will be forever missed.

His hip was apparently hurting like hell so he flew back to Houston in the middle of the tour to go see his doctor and that was the last we heard of him. RIP Dusty Hill. He’s often remembered for his vocals on ‘Tush’ but let’s not forget his vocals on ‘Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers’ !!! I lived in Alaska for 24 years and glad I got the chance to see ZZ Top in Anchorage, AK about 12(?) yrs ago…. “Well here is why…if you’ve got the time…and a tic to get yourself in…just let me kno if your gonna go…to that home out on La Grange they got a lotta nice girls HA!”

It's so sad seeing our RnR heros get old and die. In the end they are really just human beings. Thank's for all the great music Dusty. May you rest in peace sir.

This makes me sad but the show must go on, and that's what Dusty would have wished. Long live ZZ Top.

Dusty is truly brave and a gold medal winner in my book. To stick it out, probably in some awful pain, and complete the show. Never giving up. Never phoning it in. And most certainly not a quitter.

Not sure how many groups can boast of all original guys 50 years later…..amazing run, RIP

What? Dusty's gone? Oh crap. So sorry to read this. Prayers to Billy, Frank, and Dustys family. Heartbreaking. These guys laid the foundation for future rock and roll merged with the blues. I got to see them up close and personal on tour. Great bunch of guys to work for. Took care of us with some of the best food I ever ate, etc.
Was my very first concert as a kid and always followed them.

One band. Three Amigos. Over 50 years together. Alot of musicians could have learned a thing or two from ZZ Top. Loyalty comes to mind. True friendship. Legends.

I saw the boys when they played in NZ many years ago. No fancy lights on stage or any other stuff just 3 great musicians playing some magic rifts and legendary tunes. A night I will never forget. RIP Dusty
