JetBlue recently announced they’d transform US Business Class with a complete redesign of the Mint Cabin on their A321LR to prepare for beginning their service to London in Summer 2021.

In advance of JetBlueMint service to London, the airline began serving the JFK - LAX route with the new Mint service and I was lucky enough to get onboard!

In this JetBlue Mint Studio Review, you’ll be able to judge for yourself what you think of the JetBlue Mint Studio on this A321LR.

In this JetBlue Mint Studio Review, you’ll see how JetBlue redesigned the cabin to create the largest business class seat on a US Carrier, which they call the Mint Studio. You’ll also check out JetBlue’s innovative Mint food. You’ll even see the largest built-in inflight entertainment screen in the US…it’s a whopping 22 inches!

You’ll also see how much JetBlue’s Mint Studio costs.

Is this First Class on a low cost carrier? You be the judge after this JetBlue Mint Studio Review!

tried booking from Boston to Vegas on this for 2. 125, 000 points plus $2350! Expensive stuff. Great review.

JetBlue's definitely come a long way, I remember back when everyone was excited over the free bag of blue chips...and now we have business class, signature cocktails and London flights, amazing!

I would think Jet Blue is going to have to get into some kind of lounge game, possibly contract it out. After flying to London, especially if your working, an arrivals lounge or some sort of access to shower facilities is key.

Great report!
I’m a lot older than you, so I can brag that I actually used the old TWA terminal (which was considered ultra modern at the time) on many occasions. I flew on the original 747-131s to places like Los Angeles, Paris, Tel Aviv. Now I’m just an old fart sitting in the porch!

The camera is there to allow for the flight attendant/s to have full view of the cabin during landing and take off to ensure cabin is secured and customers are seated during critical phases of flight etc. The view to the cabin is obstructed on this particularly layout because of the Mint Studio, unlike other layout in the fleet.

I’ve been binging these Mint reviews since the inaugural flight, and it’s great to finally get a Mint Studio one! 🙏🏽🙌🏽

The camera is for the front crew to monitor the whole cabin when they sit in their jumpseat while taxiing, taking off and landing in case someone gets up during takeoff or an emergency happens during those flight phases. That’s because of the design preventing jetblue to have a small window installed in the front.

Nice work Jeb as ever...do wish you added “Price/Value for Money” to your rating system. It’s a reality for all of us when considering which carrier/flight/route. 👍✈️😊

Been an AA executive platinum for years but the new alliance convinced me to try JetBlue (and Alaska) for the first time and I was really impressed. Anytime I can’t find an AA wide body transcontinental plane I’m taking JetBlue Mint

I worked for Jetblue almost 15 years. The camera is one of 4 cameras on board every aircraft, it allows the Pilots to keep an eye on what's going on in the cabin (Live feed to a small screen in the flight deck) in the event there is an issue that arises. This was implemented shortly after 9/11 and continues today.

I flew the same configured aircraft from Fort Lauderdale to Newark a couple of weeks ago. It was the most comfortable flight I have ever been on. I’m 6 foot 4, 270 pounds and had plenty of room in my Standard economy, aisle seat. JetBlue is my go to.

Once the London service is launched, might it be time for a Trans-Atlantic Throwdown?
