Donmai is probably my new favorite song from you Mori. Its got everything that you have built up as an artist this past years from the clean rap parts, to the hard rock interludes, to the snazzy trumpets and those crisp vocals throughout the chorus. Its the song I use to introduce you to people I know and I'm happy that it got a music video as incredible and psychedelic as this.

The MV is a good 3D one. Using IRL images with a filter was a good idea, it makes the anime girl 3D model blend in. The new 3D model really makes a difference too.
I've listened to this song so much now. I love the combo of genres in it and she sounds so good when singing it, soulful. I really hope this harder but upbeat style can go far. The lyrics were always one of her best, really cathartic, a self-centered introspection without being selfish, accepting the risks of being yourself. The track itself really shines, really fun.

I don't usually watch music videos more than once to be honest, I'll listen to the song plenty of times but the actual video usually doesn't do much for me. This one however is an exception, or more like exceptional. It's one of the few MVs I actually want to watch every time I listen to the song. Hats off to the team behind this one. The song rocks too.

MV is absolute cinema! And speaking of performance, I am absolutely in love with Calli's jazz-rock arc. This is what we needed, but we didn't know about it.

I always listen only to popular tracks by the artist, but I can’t deny myself the pleasure of fangirling and listening to every new release from Calli and every time enjoying how she gets better and better every time. What a time to be a deadbeat!
