Finally! There hasn’t been any good vampire movies since the early 2000’s. Hope this one is a banger. It looks pretty good so far!

I will be honest. I did not assume it was vampires, even after the finger lick haha. I was just like--ahh the weird blood-licking trope...but then it was actual vampires. Still a bit surprised that they went for it, actually.

Honestly one of the better releases of the year, managed to subvert my expectations in a way that I didn’t expect! The fact that it’s less of a horror movie and more of a romantic thriller absolutely took me out of left field, the last quarter was a bit diminished but it’s acceptable with the early parts of the film. I give it a very solid 7.5/10

This movie is definitely inspired by ready or not heavily and that movie was so good I hope this movie ends up being really good like that one it looks like it will be
