I have followed Graham's stuff since the days of "The Green Stone", a great presentation.

Great talk. Sometimes these talks on “alternative history” theories really reach, but this presentation was totally straightforward and logical, not to mention pretty convincing

What a great lecture. Graham is such a great researcher. This is the most logical orgin of the Arthur stories I've ever heard.

The Welsh chronicles are talking about Athrwys ap Mor. He was born in York, and mostly fighting against the Bernicians and the Pics. He died as he was attacking the Pics just outside the Antonine Wall at a place the Romans named Camelon. There was also Athrwys ap Uther of Somerset, who was the leader of the field army of Dumnonia, who mostly fought the West Saxons around the south cost and south Wales. Arthur's Grandfather on his fathers side was Ceneu ap Coel Hen, Saint, Brenin (King of) Rheged & Catraeth, King of North Britain. You might discover his Great Grandfather was Old King Cole. Yes, it's true. Certainly a lot more true than the tales spoken in this video.

Anglesey (traditionally called the Isle of Apples), unusually fecund compared to mainland Wales, home of the Druids and their main school of learning, absolutely covered in ancient stones and dwellings. An island off the coast of Wales. Avalon, the Isle of Apples, an island garden paradise from the Welsh tradition.

. . . Very useful information and perspective. . . It’s not always so easy to put oneself in the shoes of others where a story, that spans many generations, is thought to have begun, especially, when beginning with only a few shreds of that remaining past to build upon. . . To do so one almost needs to have been there, to experience the actual way it was. . . Many thanks for a different approach on histories of which many stories have been told and to consider other source information. . .

If this was a lecture in 2016, could someone please advise if there has been a dig since?

I'm currently reading the book. It's nice entertainment. The author incorporates historical references, which might be based on some truth. However, it all remains quite vague and ultimately leads to nowhere. 98% entertainment and 2% history. And in some cases, the author himself is the source when you research it and it leads to his YouTube channel. So, the source is: "Trust me, bro." I'm only continuing to read it because it's entertaining. He should write a fantasy novel.

Antoine Fuqua's King Arthur reflects what Graham is talking about. Fantastic flick if you haven't seen it.

Ummm as a Powys native I can tell you it's not small not by any stretch of the imagination, I think that Powys is the second largest county in Britain behind the Scottish highlands .
