I'm a guy and this song makes PERFECT sense. I'm currently in college working on motivational speaking for women and working to get women have the same rights as men. A gender is a gender and just because some girls are smaller than some guys doesn't mean that it automatically makes that guy faster, tougher, braver, stronger, and daring than girls. Someone in the comments section is most likely a feminist. She summed up sexism and why girls aren't less than guys. I agree with her other than the part she said girls will be literally everything better than boys will be. Honestly there are so many guys out there than support girls, but also guys that don't. Most boys who grow up in a sexist family will most likely teach their kids on and on for generations to come. To sum it up, boys and girls are EQUAL. If only the law could see it that way. The very first lines define me. I always feel guilty. Most of the girls in my school hate me, and I’m not exaggerating; all my friend know the girls that hate me and tell me that they constantly talk shit about me and always say that I’m so mean and to never talk to me, even though I’ve never even talked to most of them. And I felt SO guilty that they hated me, and I’m always trying to figure out what I did wrong. On the end, it turned out that I was skinnier than them without trying, smarter than them, had better grades than them, was weird, and was more pretty than them in their minds. So in the end, it came down to: they didn’t like me because.. I was being me.
But I will never stop being me, and no one should ever stop being themselves, no matter what anyone says about them.
