My fine piece of furniture yet a fully functional Saxony Double Drive Spinning Wheel that works wonderfully. A few repairs were made and a little tweaking and this sucker spins like a dream. One Bobbin and a 2 speed whorl. Typical of most Saxony spinning wheels. What can I say. It’s beautiful. Spinning or not you can’t beat this piece of art.

I'm intrigued because I have a wheel very nearly like this one that my father, now deceased, made perhaps 30-40 years ago. All of its parts are there, but I'm not sure how well it could be made to spin. I will keep it, but it would be better if it was made to spin well. I think my wheel requires "tuning" by someone who knows how to spin. If you are interested. please reply! (Rockford, Illinois.)

Does this wheel spin cotton. Cotton requires twist. I spin carded cotton. What are you selling the wheel for. Thanks I live in southern ca
