Extreme Pyracantha Yamadori - Greenwood Bonsai

In this video Corin works on a Pyracantha with a super heavy trunk. This urban yamadori was collected in the UK where it had been growing in a concrete gully between 2 buildings.

Corin assesses the tree and treats the rot within the tree using wet rot wood hardener. After treating the wood he incorporates a piece of rock to the composition. Overall this process has created an interesting image that we look forward to developing.

I really loved watching Corin working at the huge Pyracantha step by step. With that ugly straight bit gone, it really looks so much better. Let's hope that the rotten wood was taken away on time.

Pyracantha is so hardy and I only have one so far. I think they're great, a bit dangerous if you get jabbed😅 but beautiful. Those make me so jealous. Great job dude.
