I can't wait!! RR2019 was absolutely amazing and this year I'll be making the long drive from Virginia instead of flying! I will also be bringing my mom with me to "Experience the ranch life and escape the ordinary!"

I have a suggestion that we used to do at our Dairy Goat Show. Fatten up a pig and rotisserie it whole. Serve on a board and have anyone who wants some just point to their favorite area and watch it sliced off fresh. Being we were a Dairy Goat Club the pig was raised on a lot of goat milk. Super tender and flavorful. Next day, as I was running the food stand I had the rest diced up and doused in barbeque sauce.

My experience with broken toes is that the diagnosis and the treatment are pretty much one and the same: the doctor says, “Huh. You broke your toe.” Pats you on the back & sends you home.

Hi Mike and Erin! It takes 4-6 weeks for a toe to mend. Feet given that you use them so much, the soreness will fade in it's time. You can order a cast shoe online if not available in your town. Pain...Tylenol if you need. You can apply ice for up to 20 minutes at one time, which helps with pain and lessening swelling.The cast shoe is rigid which will keep it from bending alot. I worked ER/Trauma for years.What I've told you is what I've seen physicians order to treat simple toe fractures for decades...full disclosure. Good Luck.😉😉

Tape that toe to the one next to it, give it couple of weeks, then take it off and try walking. If it still is painful tape it again. Mine took a month and a half, but at least i could walk work and put shoes on. Take care and be safe and well.

A few weeks back I broke my 4th toe and it was all purple, I wrapped it with the 2 toes before it and I iced it and within 2 weeks I was able to get my shoe on. I hoping your toe will be looking better and feeling better within two weeks.

Your carrot cake is the best ever, I have made it a few times and everyone loves it. I don't bake often but I do cook every week, now my family just wants me to make the cake. Wish I could make the round up but my children and grand children all live hundreds of miles away and that is where my extra time goes.

Oh Erin, a broken toe is awful. Takes awhile to heal. Wish we could come to Ranch Roundup but will enjoy by my “armchair”. We will be sending something from our store for your auction.

I broke my toe once, ran right into a push lawnmower, barefoot. It turned all sort of colors. My Dad taped it to the next one, which help a lot. I was a stupid kid for not wearing my shoes outside. Take care of your self Erin.

Oh the round-up sounds like so much fun, I would love to come however due to health issues I have to stay at home. But thank you for your videos. Erin it should take about 3 to 4 weeks for your toe to heal, wear a boot so you don't keep bumping it. God bless you all

Careful with the word ASSUME!
You should try BYOB (bring your own bale) & leave it behind for the cows to eat after you’ve satten upon it
The worst toe to break is the big one you use it for walking and it’s hard to immobilize otherwise just tape the one (or ones beside it) together

I hope Erin places a piece of cotton and tape the next larger toe and it will heal fine.
