Great video bro, but i3 / i5 / R3 / R5 processors are more than capable of 60fps gaming. You don't need an unlocked 7700K for that.

But it's like 3 times the price of the Xbox One X

The thing is Xbox One X supports 4k 60fps. Youtubers who tried Assasin's Creed Origins noticed that game was in 30fps and less than 4k. Stop thinking that support means runs.

I don't understand why the unlocked CPU if no overclocking intended

Obviously it's Xbox one X killer when the price is a lot higher.

$500 vs $1200 !! The answer is right here

This is the first time I've ever disliked a video...

There's no comparison and it's really unfair on both platforms. The Xbox is great for the price, but the PC could have been made with more budget oriented parts to achieve similar performance.

For anyone watching who doesn't care about the extras that a PC offers and just wants to game then I'd recommend buying the Xbox. There may be differences in quality but not enough to justify paying so much more.

A lot of gamers who spend $1k or more actually need a high end PC for work anyways.

It's funny that just one component for this PC cost more than the entire Xbox One X all together. The PC will deliver better performance, but at triple the cost. The Xbox One X is the best bang for the buck hands down, good video

That's a terrible cooler look up some reviews, a noctua low profile cooler would be good.

This isn't a fair comparison, that PC is way overpowering compared to the One X, also, Digital Foundry have been showing a few games thats showing the One X is matching up well to the 1060 and 580 gpu's, you also don't need anything special with the cpu.

I suspect once all this minors craze ends, you will be able to build a PC for not much more than what the One X cost that can compete with it in gaming performance, also, lets only compare price when the One X is on the market not months before it's released.

Anyway, there are many ways with that PC you can trim down to match the One X and it would be much cheaper too, also, Digital Foundry have shown how a GTX 970 can do native 4k 30fps with careful graphics settings, this is what most One X games will target, 30fps and thats much easier on the hardware, anyway, will be interesting to see how the One X really performs when it's out.

Nice looking mini pc. I would have bumped down to a cheaper (and cooler) cpu (probably a Ryzen 5) and used that towards a 1080 ti. Would still go xbox one x for the living room though, not only cheaper but easier to operate from the couch.

Challenge: In the same week that the Xbox One X comes out, try to build a similar PC version for around the same price.

How the fuck is it a Xbox One X killer if its more then 2x the price and doesn't have the simplistic UI?

Just curious, is there a reason to go with the 7700k if you aren't planning on overclocking? Mind you I don't know much about PCs myself, and I'm just now looking to build my first one

What's the point of this when the price is SO much higher? The reason most people buy consoles is because they are relatively cheap and really worth it for the money...

This is so not true. "You need $1200 to build a PC comparable to the XBOX one X" I built a PC for about 1050 and it will smoke an Xbox One X. Core i5 6700k, 16GB's RAM, GTX 1070, SSD, Corsair H100 and I haven't even OC'd it yet.

EDIT: Updated the title as to not confuse people. The point of the video was being clouded a bit.

Please note: This is for a 4K 60FPS PC build that provides a console-like experience. Obviously everyone will have opinions, but it was a lot of fun to make this! Leave this video a thumbs up for a comparison to the Xbox One X when it comes out! Parts and everything are linked in the description! Thanks for the support!
