Make sure your tying your knots right, uni to uni never fail, besides thay check out your eyes and make sure they dont have scratches, if you put your hooks on the eyes it will mess them up if you do. Best of luck.

Time to learn a new knot. Go polymer and atleast have 15-40lb braid

Personally I’d opt for a spinner, practice tying your knots(idk which one u use so). And maybe try less effort on the cast, let the rod do the work. Worse case scenario, you got old line that needs changing.

The video isn't good enough to critique your casting and what your doing wrong but I can tell you that setup is everything with a baitcaster. It needs to be adjusted right with every bait change or it's just going to be a mess. Braid is unforgiving when it comes to shock loads and will snap easily. It does appear to me that your knot, or lack there of, was the real culprit but I can't be sure. Perfect practice makes perfect. Good luck.

Youdon’t show enough to help you out. There are lots of good YouTube videos on how to cast with a bait caster. One thing few tell you is to retrieve with tension on your spool. Place your hand over your line and rod.
