Wow... Another reason I hardly improvise on Trombone! (I want to sound like him but cant) Paul Mckee a true inspiration! He worked years at Northern Illinois University in the Chicago land area. I met him in 1999 to apply for graduate studies. I didn't get in the graduate program but I enjoyed the meeting I had with him. One of the unsung heroes on the trombone. Those who don't know about him need to check out his music. Everything clean and always in time. Top notch arranger/composer/performer and all-around nice guy.

Beautiful playing by everyone! Don, you sound fantastic, inspiring me to woodshed some more! Great sound, fluidity and wellspring of ideas! Trane would be proud. I know of your dad through Doc Beaudreau in P-burgh.

Can't believe someone placed one thumb down. Which musician was he disappointed with? Sad.

I like it.  Some great playing.  Being a drummer, do enjoy Derrek Phillips style.
