I had a guy like your old teacher Jeff. He would deride everything I did as though I didn’t know anything. Years later I realized how little he knew.

I also had a teacher that would only teach me a riff or daddy of a song, nothing more. I lost interest so quickly. I wanted to play with people.

Both motivator killers.

Great video. Another band that people think is easy to play their songs is AC/DC. The groove to that band is so solid but so many cover bands I see get it wrong. The timing has to be almost perfect or it just sounds like a mess. And your drummer and bass player need to be tight, as I found, otherwise as a guitarist it’s like wading through treacle.
