One of my favorites so far is when Atreus asks Kratos what his favorite ancient weapon is. Kratos tries to play it off and says “I don’t have one.” Atreus just says he likes the axe and Kratos, pausing for a moment, goes “….I like the axe too.” Absolutely perfect.

It’s also hilarious how when you hit the chimes enough, Ratatosk runs out of patience, “STOP WITH THE STUPID CHIMES!”

I like when you rescue Tyr and instead of following Tyr and loot, Tyr would ask why you’re not following him and Atreus would say “he does that”

Another good one is when you try to go back to the Norns with Atreus, an Kratos says "I thought Atreus would like the horse"

Freya really has those irritated mom who has a lot of patience vibes throughout the game.

Honestly i was so surprised that kratos said the exact same thing in my mind when i get there.

Once you remove the all consuming rage Kratos felt when murdering the Greek pantheon, you remember he had the personality of a wholesome doting father

I love how the humor in this game is kinda subtle, makes is so much more funnier

The best one is when you don’t stop ringing the bell that calls Ratatoskr. He keeps telling you how to use it and to not ring for nothing, but if you keep going he starts to get upset more and more to a point where he literally burst out of rage, it’s hilarious.

There’s quite a few of these throughout and I just love how they were put in. Off the top of my head:
1) When you first go to Sindri’s house and spot the dragons off in the distance, if you try to throw your axe at them, Atreus points out how they’re out of reach;
2) If you keep hitting the chime to call Ratatoskr, he finally snaps;
3) After Atreus frees Garm and Odin tells you to leave his office so he and Heimdall can talk, if you linger around the door, they will tell you to leave, and if you keep lingering out, Odin will comment how now it’s just awkward lol;
4) When you loot like crazy, a lot of the characters point it out.

At one point when goofing around in Svartalfheim Atreus said something about changing hair cut, asking Kratos and Mimir what they thought about it. Mimir answered "Really lad? You are asking us about that?". Mimir cracked me so many times lmfao

I love the meta humor scattered around the game, like when thors daughter says "oh another blocked path, let's see if there is another way around, because, well.. there always is one." Or in the early game when mimir says "good to see you haven't lost your love of smashing any pottery in sight!"

He did something very similar with the Norns, I went back there with Atreus thinking I left something behind and when asked why they'd need to go back Kratos said "I thought Atreus would like to see the horse"
