Nothing happens by accident, everything is connected and there are no coincidences: this is the essence of conspiratorial thinking. Most of the time, things just happen, but our brain can connect the dots into meaningful patterns, even if these connections are imaginary. Conspiracists prefer sinister motives behind the patterns rather than accepting the randomness of life. .
thanks for the video professor simon, as always exciting

Good point prof. Still bewildered occasionally, not by the visual stuff but by the intentions/reasons behind what they show us.

Lovely little video, Simon; very perceptive and - ultimately - very profound! You have illustrated both of the paramount question of existence - 'why are we here?' plus the supreme question of reality, 'what does it all mean?' Excellent piece of work; I profoundly congratulate you! (Give my love to your delightful moggy!)

Can we trust our eyes? Not always. Does our brain play tricks? It certainly does. Over the last couple of months I had cataracts removed, but a short time before I wasn't even aware that I had them because my brain didn't let me see blurry images, it would just fill in the images for me in detail. I finally notice when I was driving and turned on the street I was looking for because that's what I clearly read. In big letters as I drove under it I saw Granite Falls Dr. but the road immediately ended and when I went back to the road sign it said Downy Ave. All the buildings look the same so I concentrate on the road signs. Now I don't think an eye witness is always 100 percent, and my eye doctor thinks the same. If you don't know your looking at an optical illusion, you believe it. Thanks Professor.

You can't just go around enjoying every moment of every day, we still lock people up for that back in Scotland.

As a sculptor, this is right up my alley! Thanks.

Those who are interested in these things might look up the works of graphic artist M. C. Escher who produced a lot of works on "impossible geometry" and things which can be perceived multiple ways.

As humans we often make our own worries, which is sad really when you consider it . But life can be a challenge for many people in the first place , and definitely doesn’t need the actions of others to add to their existing worries . Kind regards as always 😀👍

Thanks Prof, for reminding us to enjoy the moments ! Somehow the truth evades most people's eyes and minds ! But, we are still evolving ! Like they say, although the earth is round, the truth is hiding around every corner !
Ps. Chinese saying : Is life the dream of a shadow, or the shadow of a dream.

I have edited my earlier comment, as it contained a few grammatical errors, and I changed the wording a tiny bit.

As a direct result, of the editing, I lost the post's "loved" vote, which I was very happy to see and also grateful for, when I just checked back on this video. I hope to have that designation restored, if you still feel that way about the post. I have been somewhat inactive lately on this platform, but I have some free time, now, and through the winter, and I hope to possibly publish some videos myself.

I really admire your introduction clips, as well as the overall style of the main content of the videos that I view on this channel. I have purchased some older vintage analog television studio equipment, and I hope to focus on creating at least one combination CGI/analog introduction clip for my content, if I can manage to get that old video production equipment to operate correctly.

Thank You again, _John_

THANK YOU! :) I very rarely share videos, but I shared it on my LastNameFirstName profile on an eXtraordinary social media platform today.

I was initially a bit hesitant to share the video, due to the thumbnail image, and asked my primary attorney for his thoughts on whether or not some folks could say, imply, or suggest that *my* post contained subject matter that suggested or incited violence. :) - Some folks tried litigation to take my home away once in the past, and I do not believe that I would be happy with the sleeping arrangements and the decor of the "crib", to use a "street" or "blunt" analogy, if that type of event was ever to transpire.

This video is as "cool", as the steam engine powered by your wife's steam maker for tea, if you ask me. :)

As children we live in the moment and have no fear of anything.but as we fall down and hurt ourselves or see someone else hurt we remember that hurt and learn from it.But not everyone learns from experience either. Animals do the same is my experience with them. When the butcher shows up to kill and haul off one they all go and hide, they remember.
