3D Printed footwear its getting more and more popular in recent years, with everyone from Elon Musk, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, 2 Chainz & many more rocking them. Theyre incredibly futuristic in terms of looks but also have some pretty big promises in terms of practicality. To test these claims I decided to wear the Zellerfeld 3D Printed Sneaker for 30 days straight taking them through as many durability tests as possible (some more extreme than others). All of this to answer the question is 3D Printed footwear really the future of shoes?

Really interesting, I was really skeptical at first but after seeing the video I think I might try them out by myself and let's be honest they're probably always gonna go on a rotation with other shoes most of the time so they're gonna last pretty long. I'm also interested in the return policy that you mentioned in the other video about them getting recycled. Overall I laughed so hard when you literally threw 'em into the lawnmower

The only thing I worry is how the material does with grip. Especially on wet rocks, boulders, tile. Maybe even limit test on slightly frozen asphalt. Also, the part where you said the water is getting in through the bottom is a huge negative. Maybe put it under a faucet and see if it ACTUALLY leaks from the bottom and it's not just water getting in from the front.

I really wish I heard about the beta test as my last job definitely would’ve put any of their models through their paces. I was working in a warehouse and a typical 12 hour day would involve me walking 20+ miles usually carrying 40-60lbs, often 100+ lbs. That much walking carrying that much weight hopping on and off pallets and this grip tape type stuff on transporters would definitely show if those shoes hold up well. That and if they’re comfortable, since that much walking on concrete is pretty hard on your feet.

A really crazy test would be the "bonus trail" after the Manoa Falls hike on Oahu. The hike leading to the falls themselves is pretty easy going but that second trail absolutely murdered the sneakers I brought.
