I got a Zagg 15 Pro Max case for free. Everything you’re saying is spot on. I really feel like when it comes to iPhone cases the normal silicone one that Apple provides is the move.

The only thing that sucks about the Apple cases is that they always wear down after just a year, and Apple has a pretty bad warranty policy for exchanges.

Ignoring the MagSafe issue though which isn’t as big a deal for me since I don’t really rely on it the case itself are fine if you prefer a harder case but the main reason I go for a case is for grip which is why I like the silicone styles.

The one thing in Zaggs favor for all their products is the limited lifetime warranty they are generally pretty chill with replacements

ZAGG use graphene in their new cases. That’s a very strong, yet flexible material that dissipates heat extremely well. 5000w/mk whereas tpu and aramid score around 0, 1 and 0, 2w/mk. I don’t know how much graphene zagg uses, but it’s worth mentioning. It’s very rarely used but I think next few years more brand will follow.

I have the Denali and I love it apart from the weak magsafe magnet, which in turn results in lower charging speed with magsafe. I hope they can fix that issue for the next version.

Is the rounded edges of the clear case make difference?

Does dust get inside the back and sides of the case and scratch the iPhone? Does it attract dust easily?

I tried the crystal palace and didn’t like the grip on it at all. Did not even notice the magnets were so bad. Thanks for pointing that out in your video. I also noticed zagg isn’t using d3o anymore. Confirmed with d3o they are working with casemate instead this year. I picked up their case and love it. The grip is really good on it. You should definitely give it a shot.

Good review. Would you still recommend the Denali case for someone who doesn’t care about the magnet? I just received the mous case and not overly impressed with its grip tbh. Always had great protection using gear4 battersea cases.

Ya Just bought a Denali today and I can confirm it’s totally fine on a car mount.

I recently got the Zagg Manhattan case. It’s one tier up to the luxe case. I don’t have weak magnets on mine as I only use MagSafe function to mount my phone in car for gps. The magnets on mount are really strong and it’s Miracase brand if that matters.

Maybe I got lucky? I’m using the pro max version of the clear case from Zagg and my MagSafe is really strong holds it in my car and popsockets stay secure. Or maybe the 15 pro cases are just duds?

i have the denali and the magsafe is just fine - i use it on my car mount without any drops on bumpy roads….this guy is way picky about everything. I bet he would claim magneto from xmen has a weak magnetic pull. LOL

I have all of them. And i love them better than my UAG (pathfinder and civillian). Btw..mine the magnet is pretty strong (except for the denali one) I mean when u stick the power bank 10k mh it will stay put even if u shake a little. No problem at all. I even tried it using powerbank 20k mh. The magnet able to lift up the brick with no problem at all.

The fitting is very nice. And tbh..the premium feel is better than my UAG cases.
