Thanks for this. To safely release the windshield wiper you need a pulley puller. The motor is very easy to 'repair' actually. Before putting on the windscreen wiper let it do 1 cycle so it returns to its '0' point.

I opened this video in order to see how to remove the wiper arm from the spindle. I can't see a nut on mine, just a black dome where you'd expect to see a plastic cap that flips up to reveal the nut underneath. But this is a funky little Renault so we must expect the unexpected. I'll take a closer look and this time wear my glasses ☺ I'll probably be getting out my balljoint separator too.

Hi there, your videos have helped me a lot with a few repairs i did myself on my MK1. I was wondering, did you manage to fix the last issue you pointed out in the video with the wiper landing over the windshield rubber seal? I kinda have the same issue.
