That is a really nicely integrated metro depot. My man does more detailing, surface painting, asset customization, building stitching and subelements bulldozing in one tile than I did in my entire city.

One of the tiles should be a massive park like most cities have their main parks like Central Park in NYC or Hyde park in London. You can also put the government offices around this area and more historic buildings.

Good episode. Placing the metro depot there actually makes sense if it was _originally_ built at the end of the line, but the city has grown and surrounded it since. The huge, mostly elevated spaghetti interchange really sells rhat as the history of the area as it seems to cut off the older neighborhood. Like the highways was just bulldozed through decades ago à la Robert Moses.

I’m surprised you didn’t use the supermarket that came with one of the DLC’s aswell as the petrol stations. Love your intersections, so much realism in them.

CPP for the story and professional hindsight, Imperatur for sheer beauty. Your work doing this things is amazing.

PS: Some sound barriers would help the poor guys living in those noisy apartment complexes. Also, cars are doing strange things on the highway ramp.

Really nice episode again :)
I actually played Cities Skylines 1 a lot but never really bothered to much about CS2. But this series literally inspired me to finally buy Cities Skylines 2 plus the DLCs 😅 Started building a Japanese city with the creator pack now.

Hochhaussiedlung gives me childhood memories
love it!

You should add the lightning for the entire highway system near the city for more realism. Many people tend to forget to do that in their builds

Great vid! However I do see some future problems with that interchange. The entrance ramp to the stadium district is very close to the two entrance ramps from the other highways. Alot of dangerous lane changes and will cause traffic

I think you’d like some of the massive interchanges in Houston TX. Particularly on I-10 near the Sam Houston Tollway. Check it out for inspiration some time.

This build is amazing!

This tile reminds me of Hamburg, Harburg.

Anyways
imperatur x city planner plays when?

Can you please release a video on how to make the same graphics.

UPD: I know there are a lot of videos about this on YouTube, but almost all of them are pretty bad.

Love your work as always <3
Could you maybe in the futur make a video about the mods you use and explain how they work/why they are useful ?
Thanks, and happy new year

Might be controversial to use but sadly realistic, but adding more "Hostile infrastructure" as seen in North America could fill up a lot of that space. Even very "progressive" cities here love to ship in boulders to fill space and make it unusable for camping, especially along rails and highways.

This series makes me wonder what a city where each tile is built by a different content creator would look like. (they can't communicate or share plans)
