The acting of Colin Farrell was so good!

"I don't hear a red ball" followed by an alarm. The facial expression slowly shifting from cocky-chewing-gum to "wait... is he going to shoot me" . Well done Colin Farrell!

Colin Farrell knocked this out of the goddamn park. This is honestly the most memorable scene for me, its so minor but so very badass.

The lighting and the set design were flawless.

Colin Farrell’s acting in this scene, particularly 0:56 onwards, has stuck with me for years; so subtle and expressive. Really makes sense he became a star, but of his entire career, this short sequence has far and away been the standout

The movie is 20 years old and it hasn't aged a day..

I was an extra in this movie I was around 8 years old and I remember seeing this in the theaters blown away. I didn’t understand a lot of course but the technology was so dope and I’m so happy I was apart of this.

0:58 = Colin Farrell's demeanour completely takes a 180 because now he wonders if anderton is going to murder him if maybe he is the intended murder victim wow just...WOW!!! Love this film!!!

1:02 Colin's acting of realizing that John's troubled look wasn't because he pinned him with possession was magnificently brilliant. Within a few frames, we knew exactly what they were thinking.

I am watching this on Netflix. When i first saw it years ago, i thought Colin Farrel did frame Tom Cruise and that he was trying to look scared like an asshole. Now, years later, i realize that Colin Farrel was actually scared when the alarm went off because he was starting to think the red ball may have been for him. His character was really just doing his job throughout the movie. He may have been an asshole, but he had reserves about the system itself and was just doing his job. I see his character completely different now.

0:19-1:08 impressive camera work, it’s a good one long take

That bit from 0:18 to 1:08 was one single shot! Spielberg has these in all his movies and you don't even notice because they're so dynamic

From 0:19 to 1:07 everything's done in a single shot so seamlessly you barely notice it. Spielberg is the kind of fimmaker who makes long shots in service of the story and not the other way around.

that elevator long take is the part I remember the most about the movie

Can we appreciate how hot both men are in the scene? Colin and Tom! Dude, I ship it!

The acting & casting superb, the FX is still looking great. Danny wasn't the antagonist after all, it was the ole geezer, hidden in plain sight. 😂

Farrell is great in this movie as the guy they want you to think is the bad guy

0:18 - I never even noticed this is all one shot!

Spielberg does that ALL the time in his movies but nobody notices! His continuous shots never draw attention to themselves as continuous shots.
