Judge Holbrook has been extremely unprofessional. He runs his courtroom like a circus; instructs the jury to make loud conversation during side bars instead of having the jury step out of the courtroom. He shows a lot of bias favoring the Prosecution and does a lot of lawyering from the bench. He instructed a rookie Prosecutor (Ms. Mick) on courtroom protocol and allowed this same rookie Prosecutor to argue with him during sustained objections. His ethics and behaviors need to be addressed because Dr. Husel is NOT getting a fair trial.

I knew it!! I knew something was up I've been trying to find this week's closing arguments that were supposed to happen Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday! I was going nuts thinking that after all this time i was missing it! Then a news station said they were using the time to give the jury clear instructions?? That was obviously b.s! The defense absolutely deserves a new judge...This judge was the ringmaster for this circus of a trial!! I just wish they (defense) would have filed the motion sooner

This judge was unprofessional at best, but Micheal barisone's judge in NewJersey needs to be disqualified!
That judge is the most absurdly biased and disrespectful/and just should be booted from the bench entirely! No wonder why his decorum stated no commentary

Motions to recuse judges rarely work. The fact it happened this late in the game shows it's just a desperate attempt regardless of the facts of the case. The judge's behavior is a question for an appeal's court & the Office of Disciplinary Counsel. He could be a racist, snob, jerk, socialist, progressive, conservative, bigoted, judge, etc. but that doesn't mean they have to recuse themselves. There are conditions that have to be met. Personality isn't one of them.

I have a feeling the judge reversed his ruling about adding lower charges. This would make thing very difficult for the defense since they only brought 1 witness to dispute the murder charge and made no attempt to dispute any lesser charges. This judge seems like the type to burn them in that way but I'm not sure, maybe he just wanted bad jury instructions.
