I bought a size 8 which is what my typical size on all types of shoes. The RC Livewire was so tight on the toes packed like sardines... luckily RC agreed to exchange to a size 8 1/2... I have to admit, it's a little large, but it's better than a size 8... maybe if they had quarter sizes, , a 8 1/4 will be nice for me. Meanwhile, I tried a 5Ten Freerider Pro at my local REI store, and a size 8 was a great fit...

I crashed 12 years ago and folded my foot over. Broke my foot in 2 places and pulled every tendon and ligament around ankle. The only shoes I ride in now is 5-ten impact highs in size 14. Will have to look into rc to see if they have highs in that size.

Great video. How did they do for climbing and Trail/XC rides? Would you use them for that? Thanks!

I'm sure in a few geographies water shedding and drying is relevant but would rather see some enhanced breathability over wet performance. Most people don't intentionally ride in wet weather. I ordered a pair because I love my livewires. Hopefully they will release better colors in the future.
