Chatty unboxing and set up: Hobonichi Techo

So excited to try out these new journals to help me journal daily. Anyone tried these out before?

I'm going to be using the Hobonichi Weeks and Cousin for 2020. The Weeks will be my EDC, so it's going to be mostly functional. How I'm going to use my Cousin, well I'm still trying to decide. Like you l love Junk Journalling and make my own but I I'm not sure I want to Junk Journal in my Cousin. I liked the way you said about not loving every pages and that being okay, that will definitely have to be something I remember as I do tend to get very critical of some of my pages and can find myself falling out of love with my planner. I've yet to find my own Style, which makes me feel quite anxious, I know I need to relax and just enjoy the process, it doesn't have to be perfect. I love your A5 cover, I love florals and I find yellow, such a cheerful colour, it's a great mood lifter. I have the Lotus cover, a teal/green on the outside and bright pink on the inside, it's my Christmas present from my husband, so I shall be opening it tomorrow, as today is Christmas Eve. Look forward to seeing how you use your Cousin in the coming year.

Now this is so much better for me ... I have no idea how anyone can say ASMR is quiet 😂 .... it is so loud 😀 and yes you could hear ALL the crinkling of the paper, I can’t begin to tell you how much it hurts my ears .... am I in a minority here, lol .... how is that noise relaxing or in fact quiet lol ... but each to their own right, I am glad it resonates with you so much though 😊
Certainly love all you excitement with your words .... I do love the covers, I love the flowers and the dogs, they are so cute ... I like the red pen but I agree blue would have been better for you 😀. I always thought it was pronounced Hobo - nichi rather than Hob - o - nichi but I am not Japanese but just from how others pronounce it

Hobo is life! I love my A6 English techo from 2019 and can't wait to dive into my 2020! The ink in the pen is lovely for the paper. I agree last year's pen is much nicer. If you don't like the hobo covers, there are many options on eBay.

(For next time) do exactly what you did with your cover, but put both sides of the journal cover in at the same time. It slides in way easier 😄

I like this version because u explain what the product is and why you bought it. I had never seen nor heard of this product so was a bit baffled watching the ASMR video.
