Not all versions of Windows OS support dynamic disks, if the dynamic disk shows as invalid, you could upgrade to another Windows OS that supports dynamic disks. If it still doesn’t work, you can try to repair it with Windows Built-in tools: Diskpart and Disk Management.

Let’s see the details:
With Diskpart we can make our invalid disk online.
1. Input cmd in the search box and choose Run as Administrator
2. Type diskpart and hit enter
3.Type list disk(remember your invalid disk’s number, mine is disk 1)
4. Type select disk 1
5. Type online disk

With Disk Management we can convert our invalid dynamic disk to a basic disk, then your disk can show normally.
2. Right-click the invalid dynamic disk and choose Convert to Basic Disk.

Convert to simple disk works, but it format your hard disk. You never can recover any data. warning!!!
