Personally I don't think 360 videos work with cuts... because you can look wherever you want, it takes a much longer time to figure out where you are after a cut happens, not like in traditional video where the filmmaker can set your viewport.

Having seen this show live from the audiences perspective was amazing in itself, but putting on my Google Cardboard and transporting right onto the stage, there just aren't words to describe it. Just one giant grinning smile.

This technology seems like it is particularly good for documentaries and maybe even reality shows. But really they could use it on everything. You could keep filming movies exactly as you do now but just add this so that the viewer has the option of panning around. It would be so awesome to watch Game of Thrones like this. You would get to see all the people working on the film or you could just watch the movie as is. They could sell it like a premium option. If a movie was $20 I could easily see myself paying $40 for this option.

I wish there were no cuts, but this is such a cool video. Honestly, The Lion King was on the bottom of my "to see" Broadway shows but after watching this it has definitely moved up a few spaces. This was very cool to watch and I hope people who aren't theater people see this and feel the nedd to see this show. (BTW I had to search this video after I saw it as an ad on a different video I was watching because I really felt the need to leave this comment!)

It was amazing seeing this in real life, one of the most immersive and beautiful experiences I've had in my life.
But this video didn't really do it for me, with all the cutting and - of course - low quality.
