I don't think its as much a discriminatory factor against women. But mostly class and race.
And let's not be so biased that we forget that the USA has insane prisons for men, and insane sentences for men, and insane bias against men vs women. Especially in the poor and working class.
Let's keep it real.
The whole prison industry is just insane. It should never be an industry, also the 'war on drugs' has ruined millions of lives.
It is funny how upper middle class women in safety try to tell the rest how 'women' in general are being discriminated against in this specific subject. Not mentioning race, not mentioning class. Always the same people saying the same things. The bourgeois feminist, and bourgeois socialists etc etc.

Why does the USA punish with longer jail sentences than men. Crazy so damming to families

In some countries if you are poor, you get charity, food parcels, sleeping bag etc In other countries one mistake, lack of money, poverty petty small crime = jail, USA is tough on sentences where other same minor trip -ups gets you welfare and a shelter in a different country no Jail....motto 🙂"Do in as rome do" (That is) don't make a mistake in a tough country👍

I wish these ladiez all best i hope god they get 2nd chance at their life none us perfect one had abuse like me nobody nos pain hurt effect has on you mentally emotional physically and social effect Oklahoma has worst record its disgusting needs be changed so sad to me people think prision always answer when it can be but for some no way they need therapy and its 2022 no woman has answer to any man i say i only answer God and my children thats it
