I’ve installed 3 turbos on my 2017 MK7 GTI, all on jack stands. Two IS38’s and one EQT. If I had to do the job again I could do it start to finish in 4-5hrs. It’s honestly not that bad of a job.

The other benefit of GTi platform is that you retain great gas mileage with bolt ons and obviously not when you step on it, and unfortunately you can’t do that with the mazdaspeed or the ST don’t get me wrong I love all those hatchbacks but when you can get more power and keep great mpg it’s the biggest plus of the GTi’s worth the money to maintain it

Pretty sure there’s a TSB for the mk7 and rain-x wiper fluid - it will corrode the wires in the system

I enjoyed the content . I got into VW's back when I saw my first mk1 Jetta and dreamed of owning a mk 2 Cabriolet widebody. I only recently started looking for Audi VW channels and I'm happy to see the VW community is still thriving .
