Considering the cost of this box and the fact that the broom is from Dollar Tree… this doesn’t sit right with me. Honestly the pendulum boards look like they cost next to nothing to print, too. I get that you pay for the box being curated but the value of the actual things should at least reflect the price of the box. Sometimes they do in this subscription, but a lot of the time they don’t. I’m not impressed.

i still feel meh on The Witches Box after last month’s voodoo thing. i reached out to them and essentially got a bunch of excuses and not acknowledging that they misrepresented voodoo as a practice rather than a religion. it’s really sad because i think they’re really cool otherwise.

So my question, really, is how much of this is just "aesthetic witch" material versus actual metaphysical tools? That little broom is a Dollar Tree special, and while I don't find that inherently offensive, the price of this box makes me question how much of it is a cash-grab for fun Instagram collages versus serious, metaphysical practitioner supply out in the real metaphysical world.

That broom is from dollar tree 🤣 but I still envy that box. It smells cinnamon because they likely were stored near the Dollar Tree pumpkin spice ones. They still have both in stock some places

Sitting here watching this as a solid pendulum user. You can use those pendulum boards if they suit you...but they're honestly not necessary for this simple fact: a pendulum responds to your personal frequencies, as well as the surrounding energy of a situation and will likely therefore trump anything printed on paper. To print something like what this person unboxed is to try and dictate which way a pendulum will go. To me, this is ego controlling things.

Also, experience has taught me that if your pendulum spins or swings differently than another's pendulum does, that doesn't make anyone's answers right or wrong. My pendulum swings clockwise for yes and counterclockwise for "no." My friend's pendulums, otoh, swing front and back for yes, and side to side for no. This is true no matter if she uses my pendulum or I use hers. So it's a matter of our own frequencies running the show. 🤷‍♀️

So, apart from the fact that subscription boxes are a handy way to get things that might be otherwise unavailable, this box looks like a waste of precious resources. You can get interesting things on Etsy for less. 😜

This is so dissapointing. If it wasn't as expensive, maybe it'd be worth it. I'm glad I missed this box by a day, but I dread what is coming in May's box, as I paid well over $150AUD to get it here. I think I'll have to cut my losses with Witches Box subscription. The more I see of them, the more I feel they are just not anywhere near worth that sort of money anymore.

Those boards are beautiful! 😍 & I just started a herb garden in my kitchen so I have some on hand always. I did parsley, thyme, mint, dill & two different types of basil. I got a 12 pod garden and I'm gunna grow more herbs in. I use so many herbs in my practice 😅❤️

i would LOVE to subscribe to this box, but i dont understand why everything has to come packaged in plastic..? like, surely there are other alternatives to package a pendulum or a broom..?

Those boards are really pretty!😍 I like that they left the wood unfinished so you could stain or paint it to make it more personalised, if you wanted to.

No offense to Olivia at all but the quality of the witches box has gone down. I remember they used to be so cool and actually educational. But now it seems half done and even the grimore pages aren’t as in depth like they used to. Even the packaging looks dirtier

That lighter coloured pendulum board, you could maybe stain the wood and make it look more like an antique. They are both very pretty.

I received my first box this week..I tried the strawberry quartz pendulum we got and its on point!! I love all of her subscriptions! I chose her box service after doing loads of research on others. I prefer how she does the videos to go along with the box and offers hands on practice. I am so hoping to be able to afford to go on her next year's witch retreat🖤💫🤍
