This kind of thing is why I love Trunks. He's pretty much the only one who's even partially Saiyan that will willingly enter a fight and try to find the way to get a win as fast as possible. He doesn't shy away from fights like Gohan, he doesn't mess around and give his opponents the chance to get stronger like Vegeta, and he doesn't spare his enemies once he's beaten them in the hopes that they'll become a better person like Goku. He sees a threat to his world, he immediately moves to destroy it, and he does so as quickly and effectively as he can manage.
