You should be able to extend the screen, not to make the picture bigger but to render more, would take more power but in theory you could then make a screen larger than your FOV (wouldn’t make it intractable in VR but way more immersive

these guys really dropped the ball with this one. i was really tryna play no man’s sky vr, but i have a steam deck and there’s no possible way that’s running it well.

I would love to play F1 in VR so I can look around instead of pressing buttons on controller to look back left or right .

Having large creen instead of being able to see around while utilizing the controller for the rest isn't good news. But atleast it's a good attempt in getting VR involved in console.
