Canon Fun Fact: there was actually another one so this was not the first time we see one. in the star wars rebels Magazine, Fissol an Ithorian bounty hunter used a blaster with purple blaster bolts.

The biker gang wasn't a problem in that they weren't star wars, just that on Tattooine, they wouldn't have survived dressed like that with the type of gear they had. I mean seriously, those bikes would have been jacked and torn apart by Jawa's the first night those cyborgs obtained them. The way they walk also would have seen most of them offed by quite a few inhabitants on the planet who aren't afraid to kill others. Now, if they were in the slums of Corruscant or Nar Shadaa, that'd be a different matter because at least they'd blend in.

Red was the most common color, and was made from cheaper gas. This color was used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Rebel Alliance, the Galactic Empire, and the First Order.

Blue was used by the Galactic Republic, and the Resistance. This was an ionized type of blaster bolt that specialized in disabling machinery such as droids but was also effective against organic beings.

Green was used by Naboo Security Forces, and the Umbarans, as well as the Starfighter Corps of the Galactic Empire. This was a more expensive and more powerful type of blaster gas.

Yellow was used by Mandalorians.

Purple was used by the Geonosian Starfighters, the Malevolence and most notably the Magna Guards. Purple was also used by the Techno Union octuptarra tri-droid variants on the planet Skako Minor.

Orange was used by the Marksman-H training remote and training droids on Kamino as a low power and non-lethal type of blaster bolt.

Cyan was a low-powered version of the blue blaster bolt that was used by clone cadets in their training sessions against training droids.

The main problem I had with the biker gang was how slow the bikes were. Like they’re supposed to be in the big high-speed bike chase and those things go like 10mph MAX

This particular weapon looks to be based on the Borchardt C93 semi-automatic pistol, it uses a toggle lock mechanism similar to that of the Maxim Gun and Luger P08, the real weapon probably doesn't let a large amount of sparks out upon firing but I'm glad they gave it something unique since it's such a unique weapon.

So this reminds me of my favorite bit of Star Wars Canon. So the Reason why after the rise of The Empire the vast majority of Blasters fire Red bolt is because of the gas that is used as ammo to generate the plasma. Different glasses cause different colors or plasma. Pre Empire you had, in order of abundance; Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple, White. Purple was most common for pocket Blasters that sucked in the local atmosphere heated it into a plasma bolt then fired. Tending to give of sparks from the heating coil and arching electricity to activate the magnets that fire it.

This guy is the secret son of mace windu. He obtained his lightsaber through a black market but since hes a not force sensitive he took the crystal and made it a blaster instead.

I think the worst thing about the biker gang wad their bikes. They were so lame, like, if they'd tilted over just a little bit or had some "drifting" like regular speeder bikes, that scene would've been so much cooler!
