This resonated with me. It reminds me of something I heard on FB. "Your power will either amplify the light in others or trigger the shadows in them. How they respond has nothing to do with you and everything to do with them. Stay aligned with your own vibration and let people meet you there." I am not sure who said it, but it sounds a whole lot like a 5/1 projector.

Wow this is all so accurate! I’m a 5/1 projector and I always overpromise even though I know I might underdeliver. People put me on a pedestal and I always feel pressured and obligated to live up to that. I’m awful at sending boundaries as well.

So spot on! I’m a 5/1 emotional projector with most centers defined! I can feel that energy being sent out so strong in all ways, that just makes so much sense! My whole life has been filled with what I call energy vampires! They want whatever it is I have in my aura… they can’t get enough of me until I’ve had enough and then it’s not fun anymore! This is what I am learning now! The poor choosing of invitations! So desperate to be seen and understood, the wolf in disguise worked everytime, until I was “locked” in! Then all of a sudden, the battle started … I was no longer “allowed” to be me! No longer allowed to be giving and happy and share my time and energy with others! Then it has to be solely theirs! They wanted me to “fix” something, to “be” something to “save” them from something… and then when that energy was gone, burned out, from the struggle, the bitterness I think became suffocating and the ugly came out…. Very bitter endings.. how I wish I knew this when I was 21!

It reminds me of a saying I used to have, even as a young child, "When all about you are losing their heads and blaming it on you."--Rudyard Kipling. The whole poem, although written for his son, has meaning to a 5-1 projector, I believe.

I am so happy you did a 5/1 for projectors. I've met 5/1 generators and projectors that are not 5/1's, but never the two together. I personally used to be incredibly social but I've slowly turned antisocial over the years (now age 32) because...well you know.

I find myself not caring about peoples negative projections or that "let down" feeling people get after putting me on a pedestal. Its been both liberating but also highly destructive in terms of maintaining relationships. Still figuring out if i really want to go back to monitoring my speech and emotions when relating to others as i find it very limiting. I guess my takeaway is to spend more time with self at this time.
Anyone else not caring about their reputation atm????

Big difference between seen and recognised. If we are not recognised then we are not of use to someone who “thinks” they know us or expects us to save them or be of service to their needs. Because we can recognise another it doesn’t always follow that they recognise us. Nothing wrong with doing nothing, saying nothing. The big Universe is always available to that other person if it is not ours to do.
Best advice here for me was to have a space that reflects my gifts, strengths and joy. Believe it or not one of those is a fabulous collection of vintage knitting needles, all brightly coloured. 😊

Wow, that "master the voice" is what I'm currently planning to implement with a voice trainer, after my boss proposed it. This was all before I knew what Human Design type I am (5/1 mental projector).

I’m a 25 years old energetic/ emotional projector and I’m also a 5/1. Some days I’m just so bitter that im disgusted of myself for being that bitter. I have felt my energy field being so easily impacted recently, and I’ve done SO MUCH inner work over the last few years and I was doing so well before this move, so this has been extremely frustrating not being able to manage my energy.
