Hello, Thank you for the video. It was really helpful. I am using the theme Dawn 15.3 version. I followed your video and it is working in the editor. However when I publish it after saving my work it will not show the text field after clicking yes. Any suggestion what should I do?

Hi Amine, i have tried the code and it hasn't worked for me but i believe it's because i have 2 variations to choose from. I was using the code for a ring product where a size has to be chosen for 1 variant and whether or not to personalise as the 2nd variant. I added all the letter options in the code generator, along with the word 'yes', but it didn't work, i'm assuming this is because there are 2 variants to choose? Is there a way for this customisation to work with 2 variants? Many thanks, Toni.

Hi @amine-ammari, thank you for sharing such using tip. However I have stumbled onto a bit of issue when trying to implement it. I need to provide two colour options depending on variant option. If I select a colour under variant A and then select another colour under variant B, both colours appear in the order detail. I would have expected the code to show only the colour selection under the selected variant and then remove the other one automatically. Is there a way to fix it? Thank you

Hi, thank you for your video. It really helped me. But I got another problem. So I basically have the same product, the only difference in the variants is the custom product option. How can I make it so that each variant uses the same inventory, since it's essentially the same product?

Hi again, I have 3 variants, and for the first one, I want to add a specific option (example : You select "Yes" and a custom field appears). The problem is that the field appears under the 3 variants, but I want it to appear for the first one only. Is there a way to change the position so it shows right under the related button instead of at the end?Thanks in advance !

just did it now in dawn 15.2.0 and its working, but i wonder if you can help with something else, in the text box that appear under the yes +5$ button, can i personalize it like, giving a tip for the client of what to write there, like you want to personalize someting with a name and number, i want the text box to appear with "example : john smith 10" in grey, and when the go type their own name it dissapears

How can I create the YES or NO with additional price? But not in the variant options of the product, I need this in the custom liquid code?

I wasn't able to get the variant-specific fields to show up. For those that have the same problem - make sure you are updated to the latest version of your theme! Updating worked for me. I hope this helps!
