HLOOKUP function is used to search the value in the table array horizontally and gives value based on given index number from same column. In HLOOKUP the "H" represents the "Horizontal" as it searches the value in the table array moving horizontally to the right.

Lookup_Value - Lookup value is the value you want to search for in the table array.It is value reference and a string passed in the Hlookup formula.

Table Array - Table array is the raw data to search for the lookup value.

Row_Index Num - Row_index num is the number of rows in table array from which a particular lookup value requires the details.
