yes, you can put what you want in Caesar salad dressing but it stops it becoming a Caesar dressing as a Caesar is made with Worcester sauce not anchovies.

The original Caesar salad did not have anchovies. Had Worcestershire sauce which is made with anchovies, but did not have actual anchovy fillets.

Hey I'm sorry for being annoying on the internet, its just a 10 second video after all; but what in Rappoports ghost is this video? This cant be the prime cut of the whole episode, and it doesnt even explain anything. I just watched a guy make sour face at eating an anchovy whole, while telling me to buy expensive versions of it.

Anchovies are not traditional to the original Caesar Salad. The original had Worcester sauce in the dressing, and anchovies are used in the production of Worcester sauce, but discrete anchovies are in no way required to make a Caesar Salad. If you want them, do whatever you want, it's your food.
