This is the presses of retreading a tire it is generally cheaper to retread heavy/specialty tires than replacing them. It can’t be done to any tire though. It can’t have sidewall damage or excessive ware. It’s also important to make sure that the tire has no dry rot or cracks.

A retreaded tire is generally not as safe or durable as a molded single piece tire but it is a good way to extend the life of expensive tires and avoid spending over 10k on a new tractor or combine tire.

I have relatively little experience with these tires compared to a diesel mechanic or retreater so feel free to add anything I missed or correct any wrong information
