This is the pedal that won ‘most expensive sounding’ in the Anderson Plexi shootout, and it was easily one of the lowest priced! Amazing sound. Also, good GOD Bill you are a wonderful player, kind of mesmerizing actually.

Man, I use the EHX OD Glove pushed by an EHX East River Drive, the tone is insane! The Glove's creamy and valve-like tone has added midtones making it perfect for any kind of rock and heavy metal as well. Not to mention that even the two connected together, when scrolling the volume knob the tone cleans completely. I still use an LMP-1 as a Booster on guitar solos, and the tone does not overwhelm anything. They are really fantastic pedals.

once you switch this thing to 18v on the internal switch it really comes to life. picked up a used one for 40 bucks and have been super happy with it.

honestly i love it just as a clean boost, i kind of want one so i can just keep it after all my gain pedals for just the tone, no gain added, just the nice saturation it gives i honestly love

The Glove has been such a great pedal for me, for a couple of years now. I use it as a clean boost 90% of the time, but I also love the way it sounds when boosted by a tubescreamer.

Bill Rupert is the man. EHX are meat and Potatoes and make no mistake, They have paved the way. There are some truly great and dynamic "Boutique" Pedals out there, but if you are a working Musician or Hobbyist on a budget or Top Flight Professional they have you covered. Love Bills demos.

For years I only used fuzz pedals because I was only playing Gilmourish lead tones. Recently though I needed a much less fuzzy tone for my rhythm and decided to give overdrive a try. After watching dozens of reviews of different overdrive's I decided on the glove and oh my God, I've needed this the entire time and I didn't even know it. So....just a heads up if you've never really used an overdrive and you're used to fuzz (which is pretty odd I know) but just in case, trust me, get an overdrive pedal now and my advice is to buy the Glove. It's reasonably priced and I can get such creamy tones out of it that I love love love it. Course this is going to open up an entire new world of overdrive pedals but this is exactly what I've been looking for for a very long time. Perhaps I figured out the best option on the 1st try? Feels like it. Maybe I can save you some time. Get a Glove. 👍

I review and demo gear under the name "Budget King", and I'm an Overdrive/Distortion NUT. I've got almost a hundred different Dirt pedals, so, arguably I should know my Drive pedals, LoL, and my mouth was literally hanging open when they showed how well The OD Glove cleans up! I know that has it a lot to do with your guitar, pickups, wiring, amp, settings, etc, but I don't think I've EVER heard a pedal "clean up" with the guitar's volume knob THAT well! IMHO, most good, dynamic, drive pedals WILL clean up to a certain extent, but they can sound a bit THIN, or "turned down".
Not only did The OD Glove clean up, it SOMEHOW managed to still sound FULL, and maintained the "Strattyness" of the guitar... Bravo, Electro Harmonix! That's a HELLUVA good trick that a LOT of people have been tryin to do for a LONG time!
I understand that you SHOULD expect to pay a premium for products of the highest quality (like EHX) and I'm already a big EHX fan, but I DO wish that EHX had more options available at more affordable price points. A series of basic, "Budget" offerings from Electro Harmonix would be amazing, AND wouldn't devalue your more expensive, "premium" products... Again, great job!

I have a vox ac10 as I love the vox sound, but also love Marshall overdrive/distortion.
Now I can have the best of both worlds with The Glove pedal.

I love this pedal. I use the Soul Food as my baseline grit and then stack The Glove on top. I use WingmanFX knob on the Glove's drive to adjust the gain on the fly. The Soul Food and The Glove are a winning combo.
