I Mined a 100x100 AREA To BEDROCK in Hardcore Minecraft! (Episode 8)

I mined a GIANT 100x100 area all the way down to bedrock! This 100x100 gave me a huge space to build farms and it also had a lot of ores. This was a massive project, I hope you guys enjoy episode 8.

Also on the moss method you didnt need to demolish the lush cave for moss you just needed 1 moss and you could just use its spread for mosss

Hey fru I have an idea for the next video, you should build a giant crafting table next to the furnace, inside you should put all things for basic crafting wood, cobblestone and stone, etc

Let me introduce my "7-down-method" of clearing up areas as fast as possible in survival, which is more than twice as fast as normal mining as seen in the video:

First: Place the beacons at the bottom of the area so that you dont have to reset them further down all the time.
Second: Mine out a 100% flat area. Place torches.
Third: Go 7 down and mine out your 100x100 in 2 heights. (Just like almost all people do every time when mining, like Fru does in the video)
Fourth: Place torches, and cover up all holes with stone and remove water and lava. (Maybe put glass where the beacons are so you dont fall down the chutes of the beacons)
Fifth: Press F3+T while holding mouse button, look up, start walking perfectly straight, this will mine out the remaining 5 blocks above you. Move in a straight line back and fourth untill all 7 layers are cleared. (If you have covered up all holes your mining will not be interrupted)
Sixth: As you wont insta-mine ores, you need to double check that they are all gone, so remove these if any.
Seventh: Repeat the whole process from step 3.

I actually put some data into an Excel sheet and calculated that this 7-down-method compared to just mining out 2 Y-levels at a time is 2.84 times as fast. Yes, it takes a little more time to set up, but you would mine out 7 levels instead of just 2 at a time. Also it is very automated as you dont have to move your mouse at all. I comfortably played chess and solitaire on my phone while doing this as you dont need to pay any attention at all to Minecraft while you are mining using my 7-down method.

I have never seen any streamers or Youtubers do this btw; Am I wrong here? I feel like I have missed something, because I cant be the only one who uses this method while clearing out areas. If you only need to go 4 levels down I get it, but all the way down to bedrock it seems as this is just better. Dear comment section, please prove me wrong :D ;) <3
