Solve Unfortunately the Process com.android.phone has Stopped Error

I turn my phone on and get this message. It won't even let me unlock much less get into my menu. All I can do is press OK and then message goes away and then comes back. Now what?

I have galaxy j5 2016 after official y upgrade to nougat it shows com.android. phone stopped
After pressing volume home and power key. After switch off its not working for data reset it asking password of Samsung account

Thanks, but unfortunately I couldn't find a couple of the settings in the custom ROM I have, but the settings I could find and change, didn't have any affect even after rebooting.  Since this is a new mod, and this problem existed with 2 other custom Rom installs today, what else might be the problem?  The custom ROM I've been operating on for the last year was fine until I flashed the drive this morning.  Are there other files I might need to flash now to get my SIM recognized again?

this error appeared 2 times (not the same day) and i just did a restart if it reappears the do a second restart if the error continues then try this above if again the error continues then send it to the support company (Sony, Apple, Samsung etc.).

My phone doesn't let me do anything but just press ok and i don't want to tell my parents about this because they may throw my phone away and get me a new one and i really don't want a new phone right now i told my brother and doesn't know what to do i even went on youtube to watch videos on how to fix it but nothing works

How can one do anything when the message "com.android has stopped" can't be gotten rid of, and blocks anything else? It just pops right back up after x-ing out. Can't get to settings or anything else. I hate the damned smartphone, and this service now allows no other kind. I need a phone just to be a phone. I have a computer for everything else.

So far putting phone on airplane mode helped. About 10 other fixes did not help. Samsung tablet without a phone.
