Holy shit! I have heard some amazing covers, but this, this is utterly heart wrenching and haunting. What range and control. Prior to today my favorite cover was Chris Cornell's version of Billie Jean, but that song does not have the depth of feel this evokes. This is easily the single most powerful and purposeful cover I've heard with the right song, timbre, just every detail needed so it could be expressed the way Roy would have felt in his personal aching. Holy shit Jimmy.

This is an awesome cover not just because of the performance but to see exactly what his vocal cords are doing the entire time it is truly amazing!

I met and seen Jimmy and Ours back in 91 I believe, they were getting signed by Dream-works. I worked for a Music Company CD NOW back in the early 90’s. The Band came in the Cafeteria and played 3 songs. Fallen Souls, Monster and Sometimes.
3 Incredible Tunes.
Raw Talent !!

I LOVE it when YouTube or other music platforms introduce me to someone new, but to discover a performance from 13 years ago from a man who was in a band (Ours) so very long ago, I wonder HOW IN THE HECK I missed him/them! Crazy!
