You can see rain through the white bits of glass on Bedrock as well.

Getting colored glass work on bedrock was hard to accomplish. So many things rely on the different rendering materials. So many things overlap. With the Better together update we got colored glass thanks to Tomaso Chechi from the pocket edition team. But after that these started happening. The rendering on bedrock needs a rework on how it stacks transparent objects and seperate objects like the writing on a sign(which is a seperate thing and its floating) for this to get fixed.

Not just text, you can see slimes and banners clearly through water and colored glass without tint also.

I’m pretty sure you can also see the transparent parts of slimes through copper grates

Java had similar issues with glass rendering up until 1.7 when they reworked it.
