I made a powerful CANNON that reloads automatically - Create Mod v0.5

I used Create Big Cannons for the first time, it was cool!

Since I want this cannon to go on a tank I faced a ton of challenges. It has to be movable, so no free deployers that would spam blocks everywhere. It has to work in every orientation, thats why it's bulkier than it could be, I had to use ways to make the rotation neutral.

That means that you can use the schematic in every directions, you will just need to update some parts that don't update once it's spawned (might do a private video if people are having troubles)

After it's spawned start the windmill and choose a cart from the toolboxes to insert in the dispenser. You can also fill the barrels to refill the carts after each shot.

For the longest time I had the idea to try and make a mod which would allow people to start up impromptu objective based faction wars in regular minecraft survival servers. I don''t know how to code, so naturally it fell through.

Watching this video is starting to rekindle that desire. There is a DESPERATE need for there to be an /actual/ reason for players to build and fight other with creative inventions like this! Not just for some player kill count number, but fighting over stuff like territory, or a specific new ore of some kind, or any other objective that drives people across the landscape.

Fun fact. Although it won't damage it, HE can penetrate trough obsidian and bedrock and explode inside.

I designed an autoloader just this week that's capable of loading 6 powders + shell w/fuse, and when I made the design, I didn't even consider using minecarts because of the space constraint I arbetarily set.

Comparing your design to mine, I see that your design is massively more compact and can theoretically be much faster while using less SU to power. Your design should also so theoretically be infinitely scaleable for any size. That said, it's gonna be a very long loader because of the back end of the ram rod.

Absolutely great video ! What do you think of the Addon ? Personnally I think the cannons are maybe a bit too huge, but I'm fine with them right now, I just wish survival crafts are implemented soon-ish.
Edit : A couple of minutes later, and the creator updates the mod by adding crafts and breaking most cannons. Couldn't have better timing than this.

I think instead of having the cannon yaw rotate, I think you should have the whole thing rotate on the yaw axis. Like a tank. It would look cool and you have a full 360 target system.

I’ve been looking for a good ‘auto’ cannon since I made my own and blew it up because it clipped a bit into a block, and I finally found it! Now I just have to slap a few balloons on it from the Valkyrien skies mod and hope it works
