Everyone wants a good man until they realize "Good Men" come with discipline and order.

It's always crazy how they know exactly who the good men are after they are not in their prime anymore.

God has sent every woman at least one good man & she said “no thanks, he’s not good enough”

I also like the way he said "in their youth they target toxicity". While in their youth they saw the good man as one of weakness.

And this is where they get bitter because now the “good man” no longer wants them.

You don’t realize how much character matters more until AFTER you go through it with what looks good

Young people pursue what they WANT. The quicker you identify wants vs. NEEDS, the better chances of long term success.

I like how he reminded her that he wasn’t talking about her. Women struggle to see this outside of themselves. They have a solipsistic way of thinking. So him talking about women. He needs to remind her so she doesn’t go into her emotions and start retaliating and kill the conversation. It’s why you always have to give women examples so they can empathise and understand. Black women are especially susceptible to this type of thought.

I've said for years that women want to settle down when "that thang is worn out". I appreciate him saying it so much better than I did.

You didn’t want me in your prime I don’t want you in your decline

He told the whole truth.. I feel so stoopid wasting time on a toxic man because I really could have ended up with a REALLY good guy with great morals

You said it, my brother! Especially when theses women have been severely abused! They are not themselves!

That goes both ways. For the very same reasons you say you've wasted your time he could very well have wasted his. We look for principle not perfection.

This what they don’t want the men they settle with at 30+ to know. A woman who hasn’t locked in the toxic guy knows her leverage is gone with age. She might settle for a good guy but always pines for the toxic guy no matter what.

Right... Most women go from the "bad" guy (abusive), to the "good" guy (build confidence), to the "bad" guy (abusive), to the "good" guy (self-esteem). Me being a "good" guy, I normally get her stories about her ex "bad" guy. But her answer is normally, "I don't know why I stayed with him for so long." That lets me know that she has unbalanced emotions that she allowed herself to be battered by toxicity. And anything (toxicity) that you force yourself to deal with for a long period of time becomes a part of you unwillingly, institutionalized.

He's not lying. I've been a "good man" my whole adult life and did get married to a wonderful woman in my 30s but all through my 20s I was running into woman after woman who kinda liked me but turned me down to chase men that I knew were toxic. Now in the end it did work out because I found the right woman for me but some of those women I was trying to be with in my 20s are still looking and I'm in my 40s now 🤷🏽‍♂️

If you're in your 20s watching this. Don't be that woman. Find the good dude now because the toxic dude is never gonna change.
