Girl yes, the bond between a person and their bird can be so special. I had two green cheeks and they were my life, until I had to rehome them because my hubs lost his job and we went through really hard times…feed the kids or parrots ya know? I never truly healed from loosing my birds but now life has been better and we have been in a place where I finally was able to get another bird…adopted a Sun conjure/Jenday conure hybrid named Sunny and that bird filled such a void in me. Cherish and take care of your baby birds folks. ❤ also I don’t recommend just anyone go out and get a bird…they take a lot of special care, special diet, life changes and attention.
