As a father to a 5 year old boy. Seeing Jakob honoring his dad’s legacy hit me in the feels.

Last show was the night of my birthday. May 24. 1996. I turned 24 that day. And my world was crushed the very next day. Take that torch Jakob. Make daddy proud. I love every bit of this. Thank you. Thank you thank you. What a gift at 52. I love you all!!! ❤😢

As a 44 year old who saw sublime at the first Warped Tour at the Stone Pony in Nj in 1995 with Bradley, this is Epic! 23 years later, this is what I need! It’s like this is what we were all waiting for… hell yea!!

I love sublime with rome but didn't have the same og sublime feel. This absolutely does! Love it. Jakob is the only one who can fill Bradley's shoes.

Crazy how much even his speaking voice sounds like his dad.

*Love to Rome for keeping the seat warm and bringing Bradley’s songs to new generations.* Jakob, you may take your rightful place. Welcome kiddo.

I met your daddy, and he was most definitely a stand up cat.

Omg I’m crying hearing this and Jakob for the first time. I first heard this song when I was 9 in 1996 and it blew my mind. Never heard anything like it at that age. To hear his son playing it, and sounding SO MUCH like him is awesome in so many ways and literally made me cry. Like I was hearing Brad again. Whoa. ❤️

This guy nails it, and as a huge Brad fan I find it incredibly touching that he loves his dad and appreciates the legacy. RIP Brad and this is really good. Good feelings all around.

Mannnn I am so impressed. No one can ever be another Brad but to see Jakob do the work and learn to play and work on his voice is amazing. I need to hear him on audio but he almost sounds like he can hit some better notes than Brad! He sounds really good

Hell yeah! This is Sublime! Nothing against Rome, but this is Sublimes sound! He sounds extremely close to his dad!

So awesome. Bradley must be proudly looking down at his baby boy doing it. No matter how old Jake is, he's Brad's baby boy. Always will be. As a father of a beautiful little boy, thinking of it brings tears to my eyes. My son may be just another little kid to the entire world, but to me, he means everything. The fact that they were separated from each other is emotional. I feel for this beautiful child, (now a man), who is fatherless in this crazy world. He's beloved by many and has family and friends looking after and loving him, but will never physically be with his daddy. I'm sure the music brings him closer and connects him in some way to his pop. He's a piece of his father while being his own man at the same time. Sounds like Brad and simultaneously has his own sound. I'd love to see them if they ever come out this way to NY/NJ.

Gives tingles down the spine seeing Jakob singing in his father's place. As someone who - inadvertently - followed in my late dad's footsteps, there is a ghostly and extremely personal feeling when you stand when your dad once stood, for me it was BP, Shell and Saudi Aramco headquarters walking through the entrances he once did, for Jakob it is the stage.

There is no Sublime without Bradley. Rome didn't do him or the band's legacy any justice, and should have stopped calling themselves Sublime a long time ago. Jakob IS Bradley - his blood, his flesh, his God given talent and the music, it's all in Jakob. God bless you, Jakob. Keep the Sublime sound going@
