First Look - MWC Military Diver Unboxing

I've heard good things about MWC, and having had a CWC I felt the need to check one out in person. This is the military diver using new old stock cases from 1999 through 2001.

Thanks for doing this video I've been interested in MWC but NO ONE had done any videos on them.

Love watching you open boxes with dull knife! 😉👍

Dude, you went from the right to left hand with the knife. You are a maniac! Cool watch and i do like that color nato. I like that bezel too.

I want a CWC eventually. Just too many others ahead of it on the short list. Like a Doxa 300t

Very good looking watch. I will have to look into it a bit more. 👍

That is SO funny about the PVD case (I feel the same way). I have the PRS-11 Precista with the same monim case. I love them in pictures, but I have to be in the right mood to wear them for sure. Great review as always, Pete. I love your work. BTW I did review the Precista on my channel a couple months back if you want to see the difference too.

- those mwc were $120 went I found about them less than a year ago ( dead stock apparently) - that’s the problem with IG - once u share a good watch and gets popularity, prices 🚀🚀🚀 .

I'm looking forward to the review, and particularly related to the lume: It's apparently tritium paint, if it's an NOS dial.

Check out the MCW ELIVA watch. An awesome watch for the price.

I have a QM "royal navy" ($79). Probably the same as Cooper. I learned I don't like satin finish. I'm polishing it up slowly.
I also have an MWC "dirty dozen", also satin finish (sigh).

MWC are actual US army issue, and Cooper are a British micro brand homage to CWC also army supply, notably the British SBS and the G10. I ve just got the NOS 1983 MWC infantry issue, quartz, 36mm and on the nastiest black nato you've ever seen, boy no wonder everyone buys a

MWC have just as much military history as CWC and in many ways they are the same watches with the same military spec.

Are the spring bars fixed or can you take them out?

I have the automatic version of that. 300 meter . The supplied NATO was too light for the weight of the watch, so I bumped up to a heavier fabric and it is fine. As well, as to your comment, I tend to cut off the "under loop" on my NATOs, as I see it as redundant. My MWC had a very stiff bezel, but a little application of oil fixed that. I use it as a work watch, in a fairly rough environment for watches, and it has done nothing but keep the time. As far as "the community" not liking them or whatever, WGAF? If the community did like them, and I did not, would "the community" care?

Hi Man! Great review! I’m thinking of getting one. It’s been a while since you had it. Any feedback on it ? Still loving it ? Tks for any feedback! Cheers

MWC is not a homage to CWC. They use the same casing, NATO’s straps and also similar Swiss made quartz movement. They also have supplied to the British military. But they price their products correctly and not over £6-700 for a quartz diver??
