Layout 2023 - First steps...

In my new year video, I had mentioned that I was looking at building a new layout and would use an existing plan from the 1980s Märklin H0 Gleisanlagen book as a base. It is plan number 10, that can be found on pages 69 to 72. Since then, i have had the time to look a bit deeper into this, and in today’s video, I am going to cover my progress so far.

Track plan:
I use Railmodeller Pro and Train Layouts for iPad for track planning.
The plan is available in the Community layouts, It is still work in progress, so there are quite a few gaps I need to fix, they should disappear over time. The plan is called:

This layout video was the inspiration for implementing a serious extension to my current tabletop layout! Including 'hosentrager' crossing, 2 direction main loop tracks (C-rail R2/R4)

Hello again, I'm very impressed with your planning. After I acquired a copy of the Gleisplan book, I have been making plans for M-Track layouts with SCARM. Your new layout was one of my favorites, although I'm not a big fan of dead end stations.

I don't have room in my current house for anything other than a small, temporary layout. However, I'm looking to be moving to a bigger house soon, and will have more than adequate room to create a layout. I had completely forgotten about the track planning book from the 1970s. Thank you!!!
