The ranking was for the song choice. Producer came to check and gave them advices if they chose the right song. The next episodes will determine if they perform it well. ‌🇧‌🇦‌‌🇧‌🇾‌🇲‌🇴‌🇳‌🇸‌‌🇹‌🇪‌🇷‌ ✨️

The girls also sang and recorded their own vocals before also doing a dance cover of the song sang by themselves.

Great Reaction K-pop On Lock! Nobody will be eliminated until after the final episode! After episode 8 he will let us know what number he had in mind! The he will give the date of the final result! And Chiquita was talking about herself not being able to Rap! RUKA is a pure Rapper who did extremely well on Don’t Know What To Do! She was singing Jisoo’s part! BabyMonster are Solid Dancers and Lisa fine tuning them gave them an adrenaline rush!🧸🙏🏻

This group Blackpink song cover is one of the few times you actually hear Ruka rapper actually sing.

Your view is from a screen perspective. For them, it is a live performance. The feel is very different when it is live. At the same time, most of them are experts whereas we are just casual viewers with no expertise in either singing nor dancing.

I think YG was thinking 5 since Baby Monster project started 7 years ago. The First group had as many as 11 selected and cut down to the final 5 that you saw in their hip hop dance in the Black and white next movement introductions. But YG did not debut that final 5 because YG wanted Thai members. So YG went to Thailand and found Pharita from 1300 who auditioned but YG was not ready even with Pharita on board as OT6. So YG went to Thailand again and found Chiquita. With Chiquita he launched Baby Monster. Don't think he actually made up his mind until the final episodes. In the end Ahyeon did not debut when Baby Monster debuted. Likely due to the vocal change in direction which I believe hurt her vocals. Ahyeon trained for 4 years in the hip hop rap in the mid range vocals with the occasional High note for colour. The switch up suddenly to High range vocals was risky. Made for great viewing but clearly harmful to Ahyeon. I don't think Ahyeon has fully recovered. Tik tok videos shows her rather more serious than her previous happy always vibrant and smiling.

It sounded bad when you said that Chiquita second position could possibly be because she is young implying that possibly, she isn't good enough to be in second place.

The panelist based their evaluation on skills and overall performance from Ep 1. You can hear them talking about Ahyeon performance in Gone.
