Thinking to move to Spain.
Great content! Love your videos so much information in it!

I have an EU Passport my spouse doesn’t.

What process should we follow ?

What steps should we take before moving to make this process easy ?

Thanks so much for sharing your experience of moving to Spain. I've been binge watching your videos! But I haven't yet found an answer to my personal situation - I have a British passport. My husband is Spanish and has a Spanish passport and we have two kids both with British and Spanish passports. I'm self-employed. Do I need a visa to live and work in Spain? If so, which one? Thanks so much!

Is my Bank Certificate still valid? I requested one last February 18, 2022 and my visa appointment is on April 25, 2022.

Hi, just found your channel and subbed.
Me and wifes dream to live in Spain when we hit 60. Don't want to work there.
Both UK passports. Sell house in UK, buy in Spain approx 100k . How much needed in bank to be accepted? Or is it a non starter? Thanks

Oh well watched that video and can safely say I won’t be able to make the visa requirements for Spain. Mostly would like to live somewhere a bit warmer than U.K. especially now cost to heat the house.

Hi Skatz, I've arrived to Spain and am now confused but thought I had the process nailed. I was ready to book my TIE but have just seen a piece that says we need a padron certificate to get a TIE. Following the link it says I need an official address to get my Padron but we are currently in a Airbnb as we don't have an official address yet. Can you please enlighten me as to what my best options are as it feels like some catch 22 situation now 😩

Good information. Now, as an American, I can cross Spain off my list.

Im a bit confused! So my partner (we are not married) has an Irish passport and I have a UK passport. My understanding is that she has freedom of travel as an EU citizen, but I would need the non lucrative visa, to avoid the 90/180 day rule. Do you mean that if im travelling with my partner, then I can enjoy the same freedom of movement within the EU that she has?
