The Celestion G12H-75 Creamback (H Creamback) is a great speaker. Brought out around 2013/14 as a higher powered alternative to some of Celestions other H speakers.

In this shootout video we take the G12h-75 creamback and show how it mixes with and directly against 21 other speakers.

I replaced the V-types with Creamback G12H75s in an SV20 plexi and the amp went from 'pretty good amp, man ' to 'i can't believe how amazing, authentic and musical this 20 watt bundle of fucking joy is now". No hyperbole.

So what I'm getting out of this is that the Creamback 75s are a balanced as hell speaker and sound better than almost anything.

These comparisons are great, thank you. The G12H Creamback sounds very balanced, to my ears, in this demo. G12M Greenback sounds amazing as well.

G12M65, G12H75, and G12 Alnico were my favorites. Loved their EQ's so much!

Great videos! Just keep in mind the "EQ hangover" that you perceive for a few seconds when switching immediately from speaker to speaker. Listen to a darker speaker and all of a sudden your favorite Creamback sounds too harsh and brittle immediately after. Listen to a brighter sounding speaker and now your favorite Creamback sounds dull and lifeless immediately after. Taking a quick pause between will remedy this. Keep up the great work!

Another great video that helped me decide what I would replace T-75s in my Marshall cab with. I got that cab used a few years ago without knowing much about the differnt kinds of speakers (I played combo amps for years) and I never liked the high end of the T-75s (they get harsh easily) and I found them too boomy and they are quite scooped (bought that cab used a few years ago and it dates back to 2003 or 2004 but was in pristine condition).

After hearing a ton of shootouts, I went with two H75 Creambacks and 2 V30s in X pattern. That is a killer mix that instantly gave me a more balanced tone with much more present and cleaner mids and much less flubby low end and the fizziness of the T75s is gone! The cab sounds great with clean, crunch and higher gain. I run a Revv Dynamis 7-40 into it and it sounds round and clear.

Hearing close comparisons likein in this video really helped. Thank you!

I'm loving these graphs! A combination of G12M (thick rhythm) and G12 Neo (the a combination of G12M and G12H for full sounding rhythm would be perfect. Maybe a 4x12 with G12H/M on the bottom and two G12 Neo's on the top. Thanks for the making the effort. I've been on binge tonight.

I have a cab with two Greenback 25's on top and two Creamback 75's on the bottom in a 412 cab. Sounds huge when opened up. Saying that, mixing with a G12 75's was pretty amazing with hard rock/metal.

These videos are fantastic. Can’t wait to order a fatboy or oversized with Redbacks. Keep up the great work!

As always, adding weight extends the bass and mid high to high high response, and fills the low mids and the middle mids.
It's a more of anything boost, but this doesn't really apply to all frequency ranges equally.
The same in its basic principle stands true for cabinets, guitars, anything.
It's material/ sound mechanics.

Of all of them, I prefer the Creambacks (M, H and Neo), Greenbacks and the Alnico's, although none of these speakers sounds bad and the H Creamback mixes well with all.

The G12H30 sounds really good. I thought the Creamback was my favorite Celestion but the Heritage is just a bit clearer and less boxy in the mid range.

I very much like these 21 speaker shootouts. They are very helpful when one is trying to choose a speaker combination. Please do a 21 speaker shootout using the Alnico Gold as the speaker of main focus. I currently have an Alnico Cream paired with an Alnico Gold in a Vox AC30 and I have found that I don't like the Cream in this application. A shootout with the Gold would be fantastic! Thanks!

Both together sound awesome! I just replaced my Chinese made V30’s in my Orange PPC212OB. It was a definite upgrade and I’m very pleased with the tone which will get even better in the future!
